Manufacturing Process

FROM ARTWORK
TO EXPORT CARTON

This is the production path Abijah Sports uses for custom sportswear. Not every order uses every decoration method, but every bulk order should pass through specification, sample agreement, cutting, assembly, inspection and packing.

01

Design & Consultation

The program starts with the sport, the garment list and how the buyer wants identity applied. Reference samples, tech packs or rough artwork are all workable starting points.

02

Fabric Selection

Cloth is chosen for the use case: mesh for ventilation, interlock for opacity, spandex blends for compression, fleece for warm-up layers. GSM is confirmed before sampling.

03

Pattern Development

Patterns are drafted or adapted so the sample can be graded. Custom size sets are welcome; measurement points are written down for later inspection.

04

Digital Artwork

Logos, numbers and all-over prints are placed on the pattern pieces. Buyers approve mockups so there is no guesswork on the print table.

05

Sublimation Printing

Disperse dye is printed and pressed into polyester. Colour sits in the fibre rather than as a thick surface film, which suits full-kit graphics.

06

Screen Printing

Solid inks are used on training tees and simpler marks where a classic print hand is preferred over all-over dye.

07

Embroidery

Crests and wordmarks are stitched on jackets, polos and selected team pieces when a raised logo is required.

08

Cutting

Approved markers are cut so panels match the artwork and the size set. Bundles stay identified through the line.

09

Stitching

Seams, elastics, collars and hems are assembled to the sample standard. Reinforcements are added where the sport demands them.

10

Finishing

Threads are cleaned, hardware is checked and garments are prepared for press and fold.

11

Quality Control

Print, stitch, measurement and logo placement are checked against the approved sample and the size chart.

12

Ironing

Pressing sets the presentation of the garment before fold, especially on jerseys and jackets.

13

Folding

Fold methods can follow a buyer instruction for retail or remain practical for team bag packing.

14

Labeling

Neck labels, size labels, care labels and hang tags are applied as specified for OEM or private label programs.

15

Packing

Polybags and export cartons are marked for the destination. Assortments follow the agreed packing list.

16

Shipping

Dispatch is coordinated for the buyer’s freight choice. Abijah Sports manufactures in Sialkot and ships internationally; we do not claim overseas warehouses.
